My poor freezing family

This is how the kids look when I actually get the house the temperature that I like it. They all start bringing out the winter clothes and blankets. Henry even sleeps in a sweater some nights with a blanket and goosedown comforter.
It won't be much longer now though! I saw Dr. Nance on Monday. He said that I was dilated to a 2 and 75% efaced. I've definitely been having more cramping and pains. Baby Mason is head down and everything is going good so far.

Exploring the hype

I can't believe how much I've heard about these new "vampire books". My curiosity has been peaked as everyone I see seems to be carrying around or talking about the new Stephenie Meyers books. So I thought they must be at least kinda good, especially after my mom was telling me how some bishop warned his congregation not read the books due large amount of women that neglected their homes and children to sit and read the books all day. How ridiculous! They must be good, right?

So I asked Brittney(who is the only person I know not in love with the books) to let me borrow the first book. She said I could keep it. Wesley was in the room when I asked for the booked and strongly warned me not to start down this dangerous path. He says its really been a problem since his step mom Jesse started to read them. All she can talk about is how wonderful Edward is and she always wants to read them.

So I started Twilight today. So far I gotta say I'm not impressed. Its like Sweet Valley High meets Goosebumps. Sorry to all you who love, I had to force myself to finish the first chapter. One good thing is like Brittney said, it's a quick read. I'll give it another try later, thats all I can take for today. For now I'm going to go get my Stephen King book out of the car, he never lets me down!

What the ..?!

Well we had good intentions. We somehow managed to get the whole family ready and out the door today, so impressed with ourselves that we were going to make it to church all together and even on time! On the way there Isabel handed me a note she got in church last week saying there was stake conference today. As I read it to Henry Wesley shouts "what! are you tellin me I got dressed up for nothin!!" So we had to take a picture of all there depressed little faces since they all got dressed up with nowhere to go.
