Hinckley's fro in all its glory! I love this kid and her crazy wild hair with a personality to match!

Let it snow

The girls were so excited to finally have a snow storm they couldn't wait to get outside and play in it. It was freezing and super windy. I didn't think they would last more than 15 minutes, but they loved it and would have stayed out all day if I would have let them.

Maysen update

Maysen now weighs 12 lbs, sleeps through the night and loves to smile.

Hinckley hasn't gotten tired of her new baby brother and loves to help take care of him. She also loves to play mom with her babies. I left her alone for 5 mintues today and when I checked on her she had her baby in Maysen"s bathtub and was giving it a bath with his baby wash minus the water.

Maysen loves to be held and is such a good, calm baby. He only cries when his starving.

Karsyn is such a good big sister and loves to hold Maysen and is such a big help.

Every once in a while Maysen lucks out and finds his thumb. His still working on perfecting this skill.

And of course, as always, lot and lots of laundry!

Poor Henry

My poor Henry had to get shoulder surgery. All those years of sports had really taken a toll on his shoulder. After surgery the doctor said it was much worse than he thought. His biceps tendon was almost completely torn, where his scapula and clavicle meet was bone on bone, and he had a large tear in his cartilage. A few surtures, holes drilled in bone and a screw later and his was all back together. He is slowly recovering from this painful experience, but hopefully it will all be worth and he can be good as new for next softball season.

Isabel was so excited to get new glasses today. Doesn't she look so cute?!

And weighing in at this corner is Mr. Maysen... Weighing in at 12lbs Crazy, crazy! This kid is growing way too fast!! 7 weeks and way too cute.

Mr Maysen

I'm not partial at all, but this kid is so FREAKIN cute I can hardly stand it. And holy cow he is getting big so fast! He sure loves his Papa. Sometimes he is so fussy and squirmy when I'm trying to get him to go to sleep and when Henry takes him he is instantly calm. He loves to hang out with his Papa.

Maysen was loving listening to Grandpa stories on Sunday, his was entralled by Grandpa's version of the three little pigs. Who doesn't love Grandpa's stories!?

Maysen loves to cuddle with his Nana. Something about Grandmas is so calming. He goes right to sleep and humms his sweet little song while Nana rocks him.

The Morganator

Happy Birthday to Ms Morgan who finally turned 6 years old. She's so old but, as Wesley so kindly reminded her, she is not nearly as old as his mom!Of course being the number one fan Morgan had to have a Hannah Montana cake.Morgan had a super fun cooking party and all the kids got to personalize their own aprons and make fun treats!

Mr. Big

Maysen (aka Mr Big by Henry) now weighs 9lbs 6 ounces. It is normal for newborn to gain about 1 ounce a day, Maysen has been gaining 2 ounces a day. He's growing so fast, it kinda makes me sad. He is such a good baby, I love holding my sweet little boy.

Happy birthday to Isabel!!

Isabel turned 11 years old this weekend. She is getting so tall she has almost caught up to me. She is getting so grown up. She doesn't like to play with the other kids when we go to Nana's, she always like too stay upstairs and talk with the adults. Isabel is such a good kids, she always minds, she is very smart and would read all day long if she could. Isabel also loves horses, any type of sewing or knitting, going to church and activity day and hanging out with her family. She is such a sweet girl. Happy Birthday Isabel! Isabel loves any all you can eat buffet and wanted to go to Chuck a rama for her birthday.

Maysen slept through it, like most things. Look how chubby his cheeks are getting!

Top 10 things I learned from my kids

10. I can sleep on 3 inches of bed, on the edge, without falling off.
9. A dark purple tank top draped across your eyes is perfect for blocking out light and tell your body its still night time when your trying to get a little rest at 8am.
8. Babies do sleep almost 20 hours a day but their internal alarm clock is set to go off whenever Mom closes her eyes.
7. Kisses are priceless.
6. Kids are always cuter and funnier in the bathtub.
5. Babies still keep breathing during the night even when your not staring at them.
4. Holding and rocking babies is more important than dishes and housework.
