Lily for Lily

Here's the first beautiful lily from Grandpa Johnson's garden, for the sweet little Lily on her way. Only 5 more weeks and we'll have our new baby girl!! Hinckley is so exited, she says she can't wait to make funny faces at the baby and give her lots of hugs. The older kids just keep asking me if I'm almost done YET. And Maysen just stares at my big belly with amazement every once in a while. I don't know if he has any idea whats in there!

Little update on Wes...

Check out those guns. Wes is gettting pretty buff lately with all the push ups he does. Its been his lastest punishment and obviously he gets to do alot!

Wes after the track meet

Hinckley didn't want to leave until she got a picture with Wes on the bleachers.

Wes in the relay race.(Crappy pic!)

Wesley had his Hope of America performance the first of this month. We were sitting so far back that we couldn't really see him and took pictures of some random kid. Oops, haha

I know he's in this one. :)

Magical pixies

Sneaking through the forest...

Sweet little pixie Hinckley had her first dance recital yesterday.

Her class was the forest pixies that safely lead Hansel and Gretel through the forest and sang them to sleep.
Hinks on the front row left side.

They did so good! It is so fun to watch little girls dressed up and dancing.

Hink and one of her dancing buddies.

So adorable!

Me and my baby girl.

This is one of Hinckley's teachers. She is so good with the kids.

Pretty pretty princess!

I've totally lost my desire to blog this last month. Obviously! But I am so sick of looking at my stupid last entry so here's a cute one that I'll be glad to look at time and time again even if I don't get around to blogging for another 6 months.

Here's the babies! I can't believe Hinckley is now 3. It seems like yesterday
we were at Primary Childrens waiting for her to get her new and improved belly
button. We thought she would be jealous and a bully when de-throned by Maysen, but shes be such a great big sister. She loves to look out for her brother and make him laugh.

These guys make pictures so easy. They love to smile.

After Hinckley got her Cinderella dress from Nana for her birthday we couldn't get her out of it. I think she really thinks she is an actual princess. She insists on wearing a dress every day because thats what princesses do!

Hinckley is a huge Dora fan. She is not a huge Xavi fan. In an attempt to makes friends Xavi made sure to get the right present, a Dora doll. He did get a little acknowledgement from this and Hinckley loves toting it around. Oh... to be a kid when you can be a princess, magic fairy and your favorite toy friend is real.

Happy Birthday Princess Hinckley!

TAG

I am..a nurse, a mom, wife

I think...therefore I am, ha ha, how about the more I learn the less I know

I know...probably less than I think, just ask my parents

I have...a good life

I dislike...the fact that my kids can walk over the same thing 20 times without picking it up

I miss...being a kid(no care in the world, lots of fun)

I fear...anything bad happening to my family

I feel...mellow

I hear... the beeping of monitors, secretaries on the phone, Orville's crazy laugh

I smell...an air freshner

I crave.. diet coke, pasta, seafood

I cry... when I get really angy

I search...for knowledge, fun, friends

I wonder...about how its all going to end

I regret... when I'm so onry to Henry

I wish...I was independently wealthy. I like to work and would go crazy being home full time, but I would love for Henry and I both to be just part time. Someday.

I love...my family

I care...for people

I always..think to much

I worry...more than I should, just ask Henry it makes him crazy

I am not...high maintenance

I remember...Spanish fork with lots of bike traile and tree huts, playing outside all afternoon without my mom having to worry and sleepover parties outside with Lacy and the time she needed stiches after our wrestling match(which I obviously won).

I believe...in love, in God and karma

I sing...in the car

I don't like.. THE SWINE FLU Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or any big scare pushed by the media. And before you ask no you don't have the swine flu, and no you aren't going to die.

I argue... too much

I write...notes to the kids and too much on the computer

I win...when I'm having s good night at canasda, I also like poker, though I'm not hat god at it

I listen.. when I care

I don't...like the swine flu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I can...start an IV

I need...to fix my car

I forget...alot

I am...happy with my life, my kids(most of the time), and my job

I tag anyone that wants to do this!

This kid makes me laugh

Here's Wes in my stylish shades.

Other things about Wes that make me smile:

Wesley has a tendency to use things before he ever checks the label. One of my first blog posts was about how he used desitin instead of toothpaste and couldn't figure out why it had such a strange taste. He never thought to read the label, even after he used it. This morning he asked me why the hair gel smelt so weird. That was probably because it was aloe vera! Someday I'm gonna teach this kid to read!!!

Wesley and I were on our way to his basketball game and stopped along the way to grab him a bite to eat. Here is our conversation while waiting in the fast food drive up:
Wes(W)- looking lost in thought says "Mom I need to tell you something".
Mom(M)-What
W-nevermind.
M-What
W-no, you'll be scared.
Now my interest is really peaked
M-Did something happen?
W- No, it's something that is going to happen
HMMMMMMMMMMMM what could this be?! After much coaxing and threatening to leave without getting his food he decides to lay it on me.
W-Mom...(pause for dramatic effect)...

I'm going blind.....
M-What?!
M-why do you think your going blind?
W- Well lots of times after I rub my eye hard I see colors that shouldn't be there and when I first wake up there like only a small circle of what I can see surrounded by black that gradually gets bigger and bigger. And (big sigh) sometimes I look at the sun and sometimes (looking down) I sit too close to the TV.
Oh Wesley.
Another day
M-(After a funny comment from Wesley) Wesley your a nutjob!
W-(totally serious) Well at least I not crazy.
What would I do without Wesley? Life would be so dull. He sure does good to get me fired up and drive me crazy, but he is so worth it!
